Study On The Aesthetic Characteristics Of The Northern Part Of Shanxi Local Culture In Landscape Design

Local culture is not only the result of how human being adapt themselves to different natural environments and social environments but also the result of the folk wisdom. Folk art, history and culture and local characteristics are all developed and refined from local culture.At present,with the highly development of local economic, landscape design also develops quickly. Local government makes the construction of the regional culture as an leading approach to improve the local economic. Therefore, the local culture slowly penetrated into the field of the urban landscape to highlight the regional characteristics of city image. Now the Noth of Shaanxi is in a period of great development of Chemical energy and its rapid economic growth urges a higher speed of Northern urban construction.As one of the most important parts of Chinese traditional culture, the local culture of thr Noth of Shaanxi plays an important role in urban landscape construction. To create a successful northern city with its own cultural regional characteristics in Shaanxi is an inevitable result and a slogan which local government often advocates. The northern landscape designers will learn a lot from local culture and then make more contribution to the construction of northern Shaanxi landscape.This thesis is about aesthetic studies of how local culture works in landscape construction.In fact, I want to make the local culture as a starting point to find some appropriate ways in how to make the northern folk culture of Shaanxi works in landscape design .I will state my ideas from the following four aspects:I. Starting from the essence of the local landscape concept ,I refine the local culture and make a summary of its characteristics.While diging the intrinsic aesthetic meaning and cultural significance,I also explaine the meaning and impact of local culture and local landscape elements.I explain what the local landscape means to modern landscape design in this thesis as well.II. From the aesthetic meaning of landscape, I try to expound the landscape's aesthetic form and aesthetic characteristics. Especially I manage to show how the objective factors influence the local style.As I analyze the combination of regional characteristics and aesthetic landscape ,I also try to show how local landscape demonstrate in the modern landscape design. With the aesthetic analysis of how local cultural elements infuence the landscape, I gradually leads to the landscape's aesthetic of the North of Shaanxi.III. The development and construction of modern city makes the local design face a lot of challenges as well as opportunities. How to make the landscape design become more harmony in modern world is where designer focus on, which is also where this paper concentrates on.IV. The concept of modern landscape design is becoming more personlized. Northern landscape designers not only need to improve the process of modernization of urban construction, but highlight the geographical and cultural personality of the North of Shaanxi. At present, the development of Shaanxi's economic and energy is in its heyday.But the duplication of Northern Shaanxi citys'construction becomes more serious. So to make Northern regional culture reflected in the urban landscape construction ,we should protect, promote and make further research of regional culture of Northern Shaanxi. Landscape designers should not only combine professional knowledge and the local characteristics reasonablly to design modern city but also make it can satisfy the people's need.Then, to achieve the goal of improving the local living environment,they should try their best to make the traditonal culture reflected in local cities which can enhance the taste of Northern urban local culture and make sustainable development in local culture.
