With the rapid development of economic construction in Inner Mongolia, people's living standard has been improved, the vehicles on the road have grown rapidly, Grassland road construction is in the rapid development of period. The character of grassland is flat and sparsely population. This particular topography is the cause of Grassland road line segment characters, long straight, big horizontal curve radius, small longitudinal, single landscape features. Because of the particularity of Grassland road alignment landscape, the accident has also certain characteristics, traffic accident also has some special characters. The number of accident is small, but if happened, it is mostly a serious accident.Generally believed that the direct cause of the accident was caused by pilot errors, but the real reason is due to poor road alignment design. Vision is one of the main channels to get information for drivers. Visual reaction can reflect the physiological changes and visual fatigue is a main form of physical fatigue, so the research on the relation among visual characteristics of the driver, speed and Lane alignment significant.This paper collected visual features index and speed values while the driver driving at unlimited speed in real environment. The data is analyzed by eye tracking, SPSS, and Excel and other software. Firstly, select the typical long straight road, analyze the correlation between driver visual features index (pupil diameter, the average scanning speed, watching time) and the line segment length and speed, select a high correlation indicator to apply to the combination Linear analysis, at the same time, regress and analyze the highest correlation between indicators and model between length of line segment and the driver pupil diameter, obtain the line length which fits the needs of the driver visual characteristics, as the basis to verify Linear combination. Then divide the whole section into 30 different linear combinations sections which are combined by the different length lines with different circular curve, the visual characteristics indicators of the driver in various sections were analyzed. It got the best linear combination which fits visual characteristics from them.
