Research On The Soundscape Form And Evaluation Of Scenic Spots With Profound Cultural Background In The West Lake Scenic Area, Hangzhou

Soundscape is a multi-disciplinary overlapping discipline. According to the singnificance of landscape, culture and acoustic feeling, this paper researches on the soundscape form and evaluation of scenic spots with profound cultural background in the West Lake scenic area.This paper sets soundscape of scenic spots with profound cultural background in the West Lake scenic area as researched object, and actually Jingci Temple and Qianwang Ancestral Temple as two scenic spots for case study. We mainly research as following. First of all, we try to get soundscape characteristics of history and culture, space and environment, and physical properties through literatures consulting, data collection and on-site testing. Then, we obtain psychology and sociology characteristics of soundscape elements, integral evaluation and audio-visual combinations evaluation with methods of on-site investigation, subjective questionnaires and audio-visual experiment. Finally, using the measures of multivariate statistical analysis and contrasting analysis, we analyse the database obtained in cases detailed for subjective evaluation characteristics, and the intrinsic relationship of soundscape characteristics.This research reflects the essence of soundscape concept as sound-people-space being unification. According to above results of investigation, record and analysis, this paper indicates the characteristics of objective form and subjective evaluation of soundscape in case, which dynamically integrates the history and culture, objective form, and subjective evaluation as the three aspects of soundscape. This paper also puts forward some suggestions for improvement of the case scenic spots, and then hopes to operate the research as a reference for the soundscape design of the scenic spots with profound cultural background in the same type scenic areas.
