Research On Spatial Development Model Of The Wangcheng District

The Spatial Development Model is an integrative concept. It not only means the main development methods of the regions or cities, industrialize and urbanization as examples, but also concludes the model of spatial composition of regions or cities, land using and population distribution as examples. The Spatial Development showed the main development orientation and relationship between the economy development and environment protect of a region. The Wangcheng District, which was the county belonged to Changsha, has been turned into the sixth district of Changsha City in June 2011. On this ground, the spatial development model of Wangcheng District should be changed to fit in with the development orientation of an urban district, and joined the whole building of Changsha City. This paper tried to make an intensive analysis on the spatial development of the Wangcheng District, diagnose the main problems in this model and raise the practicable optimized model and optimized methods.The domestic and foreign scholars have done a lot of study on the spatial development model. On the basis of theories including Scientific Outlook on Development, Resource-saving and Environment-friendly Society, Rural-urban Integration, Low-carbon Economy, Circular Economy and Smart Growth, this paper has used the international fresh techniques, connected those with the practical situation of China, and constructed a technical system including the homogeneous spatial analysis and the inhomogeneous spatial analysis. It used this technical system to research the spatial development model of the Wangcheng District. On that basis, it has summarized the functional classified structure, the model of industrial development, the model of urban expansion of the Wangcheng District. According to the results of spatial analysis, it has constructed a Main Function Zoning on the Wangcheng District, and made the optimized program of the spatial structure of the Wangcheng District. This optimized program concluded the functional classified model of one nuclear with four centers and eight clusters, the industrial development model with characteristic of resource-saving and environment friendly, the international urban expansion model and the strict principles of land using and environment protection.Seven parts composed this paper. The first part has explained the research background, meaning of study and whole thread of this paper. The second part has introduced the domestic and foreign study conditions of spatial structure model and the main techniques of this paper. The third part has showed the status quo of urban expansion, industrial development and environment quality of the Wangcheng District. The fourth part has used homogeneous and inhomogeneous spatial analysis to research the Wangcheng District deeply. The fifth part has made a main functional zoning on the Wangcheng District, and raised an optimized program on the spatial structure model of the Wangcheng District. The sixth part has raised some methods to make sure this optimized program can be put into practice. The seventh part has analyzed the probable innovations and meaning of examples of this paper, and summarized the whole paper.
