The urban rail transit has been an increasingly popular transpopration due to its high capacity, low carbon emission and energy efficiency. Among those rail systems, the highly tech-advanced FAO (Fully automatic Operation) is leading the trend to perfect. High energy efficiency, one of the most prominent traits that set the urban rail transit apart from other transporation tools, is a promising research subject on this potential traffic tool.Based on the special operational and management structure, this paper proposes a system specialized in managing the energy distribution in the metro system in a global scale, named "The Energy Efficiency Management system". The system controls the operation of every single vehicle and cellects the real time energy information druing their running. By doing this, it evaluates the effectiveness of certain given driving curves. On the other hand, the system produces a cooperative control strategy for vehicles in the whole system on the base of the line data and energy information of each vehicle. In this paper, the structure is well designed and the function of each component is defined and elaborated. The paper also realized one of the most importance parts of the proposed system in the labortorarial environment. By blocks in Simulink, the paper simulates the operation of vehicle with an asynchronous motor. To be consistent with the actual circumstances, the paper also builds a special model to simulate the power resource. Furthermore, in order to reflect the influence of vehicle operation on the voltage at the third way, the paper contrives a special methodology to comput the variation in voltage. With the built system, the paper verify the accuracy and applicability of it and the experimental results indicate that the system bears a good speed tracing capability and the performance of simulated vehicle operation is well in consistence with the actual situation. Thus, the proposed system has offered a methodology as well as a tool for the verification of energy-saving technology. And it paves the way for further reaserach on relevant fields.
