Forecasting and controlling the ground settlement and the adjacent building settlement induced by excavation is very important in constructing city subway tunnel with shield driven method. Combining with shield tunneling practice of Suzhou No.2Lot.9subway,on the basis of field measuring and testing, theoretical analysis and numerical simulmion, this thesis makes a study on the behavior and controlment of ground settlement and the adjacent building settlement induced by tunnelling in the special stratum of weak watery layer. The main research results are as followings:(1)The behavior and the cause of ground settlement,the affect mechanism of the adjacent building induced by shield tunneling and the appropriate construction control measures are discussed based on analysis of the geometrical effects and mechanical effects of EPB shield construction.(2)Using3D Fast lagrangian Analysis of Continua,a3-D numerical simulation of the ground and the building foundation settlement is carried out, during which the factors of ground loss and earth pressure in the cutter chamber have been considered.(3)To the buildings crossed by EPB shield tunneling in Suzhou No.2Subway, then control of the EPB shield opening parameters is analyzed and summarized.(4)On the basis of monitoring data, and considering tunnel depth, geological condition, opening parameters and other influential factors, Two Nanfeng garden buildings are crossed by EPB shield tunneling in the right lane interval tunnel from Changwu road to Baodai west road railway station in Suzhou No.2Lot.9Subway. Then the development process and distribution of the ground settlement and the adjacent building settlement are obtained.(5)Using the monitoring data, it studies into the main influential factors on the ground settlement, such as earth pressure in the cutter chamber, and the routing parameter. It also achieved many useful conclusions.
