As a construction method to build the tunnel, the shield methodwill inevitably cause the surrounding ground displacement and cause ground surface settlement in the construction process, which will endanger the safety of the surrounding building facilities and underground pipelines. In the process of shield driving, reasonable shield parameters can reduce the impact of land subsidence.The paper simulates the settlement of buildings of different shield parameters with the three-dimensional finite difference method, combined with the actual monitoringresults, the feasibility of the numerical simulation is proved,and some useful conclusions are obtained. This paper includes several parts as the following shows:(1) The mechanism of ground surface settlementin the process of shield construction;(2) The theoretical analysis of the settlement impactof the shield parameters on the process of shield construction;(3) The foundations of the building form, depth of foundation, building height, the building and tunnel relationships will affect surface and building settlement, thus the encounter complex dense group of buildings to the above characteristics for classification, and according to the characteristics of the building to formulate the corresponding settlement control criterion;(4) Using numerical simulation to analyze the effects of different shield parameters on building settlement, and summarizingtheeffect degreeof different shield parameters.It has shown that, different parameters will cause little changein the location of the building uplift and subsidence point;grouting time lag,unearthedamount too large, grouting pressuredecreasing will cause the greatest impact on settlement of buildings;(5) Through the constructions of shield tunneling, displacement, tilt observation data collection and statistical analysis, can find their influences in shield tunneling process of surface and the settlement of buildings, which can be used to the shield tunneling.
