As a new type of lighting source, LED has the advantages of high efficiency, long life, good color rendering, green environmental protection and firm. The lighting LED is a way of low voltage safety lighting, which needs the reasonable LED drive power supply. Switch power supply is the first choice of power LED drive, which has high efficiency, small volume. At the same time, LED has the characteristics of constant pressure load, and it's driving power general uses the constant current source. Constant current source technology of LED is analyzed and studied in the thesis. First, the advantage of LED lighting and related characteristics is analyzed. Second, the switch power of principle and realization methods are studied, which include the characteristics of several different topological structure of switching power supply. At last, switch power supply voltage feedback mode and current feedback mode are studied. As the very important content in power electronic technology, power factor correction (PFC) is studied to design LED constant current source. The technology of switch power is used to design two models of LED constant current drive power, at the same time, the design principle and design process of constant current source are described. Finally, the design result of the LED constant current source and the corresponding analysis are given. The results show that the design of the LED constant current source meets the design goal.
