Coal electric power is the chief electric power in our country, so it is important to advance efficiency of electrical machine used coal and make sure them running safely. To measure the coal concentration in primary air pipe of boiler accurately and betimes plays an important role in coal power plants, but because this fluid in primary air pipe of boiler is very complex gas-solid two-phase fluid, measuring the coal concentration in primary air pipe of boiler accurately and betimes has been being a trouble. This article advances a new method-ultrasonic digital cross-correlation according to reading many radicals and developing many methods which measure the coal concentration. This thesis develops an instrument based on this method.In this thesis, I introduce the base theory about the method of ultrasonic digital cross-correlation measuring coal concentration; develop the achievement method of digital cross correlation, and design the structure of the on line coal concentration instrument. In this thesis I develop three methods about data collection of multicenter and synchronization, and design a twice-center data collecting using FPGA. In this thesis, I also develop two methods about data translation aiming at the bottleneck of data translation, and advance a method using ARM and FPGA to translate data based on these methods. The instrument in this thesis developing can translate data to controlling center PC by Ethernet network, so I advance a net top to connect the instruments. In this thesis, I develop sending ultrasonic circuit and data collection circuit, and according to them I develop software based on Linux.Finally, I debug the instrument and establish the test-bed to test the designed theory.
