Stepper motor is digital control motor, which can convert electrical pulse signal to mechanical angular displacement, and have fast response, high positioning accuracy and no error accumulation and so on. With the development of stepper motor drive technology and digital control technology, stepper motor is used widely in the fire control system, radar guidance, infrared scanning, laser detection and other military field. In this paper, make 2D platform as the carrier, design a stepper motor application system, and research the "fast repeat start and stop" feature according to the stepper motor's torque frequency characteristics curve, which can improve response sensitivity of the platform, and reduce weapons system response time to improve our ability to survive, destroy incoming targets effectively, grasp the initiative of the battlefield has important strategic significance.Stepper motor application system is including DSP control system and stepping motor drive system two parts. DSP control system make TMS320F2812 as the controller core, including the smallest DSP systems, motor motion control, LCD display, key input, communications and voltage conversion module. Stepper motor drive system use THB6064H chip for the driving core, and is divided into motor power drive, photoelectric isolation and voltage conversion of three modules. Control system software is modular in design, including the main program, motor movement control, serial communication, LCD display and features such as key input module subroutines.Upon completion of the hardware and software design, based on this paper, system hardware, software control systems are tested respectively. In addition, through writing the stepper motor's acceleration and deceleration control algorithm, to control, test and analysis feedback information of the stepper motor, and study the "fast repeat start and stop" feature. Experimental results show that the functions of stepper motor application system module is properly, and the system works well, through the study of the "fast repeat start and stop" feature, to find the best acceleration and deceleration control curve, improve the stability of the running motor, reduce the stepper motor acceleration and deceleration time, shorten response time of the whole system.
