With the high-speed development of manufacturing technology, people's attention on product quality is improving. At this stage, companies put more energy into the production process to assure products quality, following this, when to monitor the products quality parameters, the real-time monitoring of equipment have been become an important means of quality controlling and assurance.Base on a cooperative project with a ceramic tube company of Ningbo, to study Isostatic Pressing Machine operating parameters which is important to products quality. On the basis of building hardware and software platform, we will discuss these points:data communications, parameters real-time monitoring and failure alarm. Completed following work:the analysis of subject background and significance, building of system architecture, studying system key technology, system development and system installation.The whole thesis includes six chapters:Chapter one begins with the overview of Status Monitoring System(SMS) after illustrating the background and significance of SMS, the research status and developing trend. At last, to discuss the aim and main content of this thesis.Chapter two conducts functional requirements analysis of isostatic pressing machine status monitoring system. Then on this basis, to propose the overall design of the system. At last, to design functional structure of the system.Chapter three studies communication technology related to the equip status monitoring system. It includes communication protocol design and communication process analysis.Chapter four uses the data collected by system to do equipment failure analysis, then to apply exponential smoothing algorithm and least-squares method to predict the data trend, according to the conditions of the result to do failure alarm. So as to guarantee the products quality and good state of the equipments.Chapter five studies development and implementation of the equip status monitoring system. Finished database design, system development and applications.Finally, Chapter six makes a conclusion of the whole dissertation and puts forward the future research in this field.
