This thesis focuses on the problem of the wind-solar hybrid generation system, the basic operate principle and development trend of it is studied.Some traditional wind-solar hybrid generation system just make rectified wind power in parallel with solar power, or though different DC/DC converter charge for battery. This two kinds of system caused power waste and cost rise. This thesis used a new idea of wind-solar hybrid system, first combine the rectified wind power and solar power with a double input DC/DC converter, then provide for the load. In the analysis of several double input DC/DC converter, chose a double input PWM DC/DC converter with maximum power point tracking (MPPT) function, it can draw maximum power from both the PV array and the wind turbine individually or simultaneously. The circuit is simple and bypass short circuit is not required, no transformer and the output voltage range is large, It is suitable for the double input system which two input source have different and varying voltage. Analysis of the operating principle of the converter and working conditions in detail, and is derived by calculating the input and output and duty cycle of the relationship. Also this entire system is divided into rectifier module, double input PWM DC/DC converter module, inverter module, battery bi-directional energy conversion systems (Power Conversion System, PCS) module, the control center module and communication module and display module. Using a digital signal processor (DSP) core for the control of the digital control system. Studied off-grid inverter, using voltage-mode single-phase bridge inverter circuit, combined with frequency transformer and LC filter circuit to direct current into alternating current then supply AC load reverse. Choose a bi-directional Buck-Boost Converter as the PCS main circuit, described three-stage battery charge and discharge theory.Based on the above design, use the software of PSPICE simulation of the system, and designed a prototype of wind and solar controller, then conducted experiments, and finally gives the simulation and experimental results.
