Asphalt mixing plant has been widely used in highway construction as animportant equipment for the mechanized construction of asphalt pavement. Thequantities of asphalt mixing plant are increasing with the rapid development ofhighway construction, but at the same time the quality of product have become moreimportant. Because it's operational status not only direct impact the quality andprogress of road construction, but also has an important practical significance.Focusing on the following aspects:1. Summary the development and existing production technology of asphalt mixingplant domestic and foreign and combining the situation of our country.Putting forwardthat which kind of equipment is more suitable for construction in our country and therelated technology.2. Describe the structure and working principle of the asphalt heating system andput forward the problem that the matching of the dry heating system.3. Analysis the aggregate balance and then calculate the combustion process todetermine the heat of the three technology areas and the temperature, the heat lossthrough the tube, the effective use and the consumption rate when fuel burns and theheat loss from the exhaust gas, at last calculate thermal efficiency of the drying drum.4. According to the thermal efficiency of the drying drum and combined with thefull rate of the aggregate inside the drum to optimize the structure parameters of thedrying drum, including the roller diameter,volume,length and speed. Analyzing thedesign method of the shape and distribution about the material blades, the choice of theburner should analyze the adequacy and stability of fuel when it's burning and therelationship about the combustion temperature and the gas jet velocity, at last give thepractical calculation method of the dust collector from the point of view of purificationthe amount of gas and the exhaust fan power.Utilizing the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulates the fluid flow basedon the structural parameters of drying drum. There's a very important significance foroptimized design and improve thermal efficiency through the theory and softwareanalysis.
