In recent years, the inverter air conditioner as a small power consumption ofthe new air-conditioning products are more and more attention. The compressor is thecore components of the air-conditioner. The efficiency of the compressor determinesair-conditioner energy consumption. Besides, the cost of the compressor controlleralso greatly affects the cost of air-conditioner. The research of the position sensorlessmotor controller can not only make a great significance in reducing air conditioningenergy consumption, but also can reduce the cost of the compressor controller and theair-conditioner. It would lead to the increase of the popularity of the air-conditioner.This paper mainly introduces about the air conditioning compressors for thedevelopment of the permanent magnet synchronous motor sensorless controller. First,the paper describes the energy consumption of the entire national electricityconsumption, and shows the significance and practical value of the sensorless inverterair conditioner controller. Then the paper introduces the structure and the principles ofpermanent magnet synchronous motor, deduces PMSM mathematical model and therelationship of basic electromagnetic analysis of PMSM operating characteristicscurve, to lay the theoretical foundation for the motor controller design and debugging.This research mainly focuses on the analysis of PMSM sensorless control strategieson the basis of the traditional vector controlling and makes simulation for it viaMATLAB. In theory, it proves the feasibility of the sensorless angle estimation.At last the paper introduces the software and hardware implementations of thethe position sensorless motor controller experiment platform of air-conditioner. Itintroduces the main module of the circuit of the hardware of the controller and theflow chart of the implementation of the software, then make test for the performancebased on the PC monitoring software which developed by the laboratory independently and analyze the test result. At the end of it the paper makes an overallconclusion about the research, point out the inadequacies of the research, and makesan outlook for the next step.
