In recent years China has entered a new stage of the development,energysaving is an important means to promote the steady development of the industrialeconomy. In line with the policy of the Chinese industry and the guideline of the12th five-year plan, PMSM (Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motor) motor controlsystem is widely promoted and applied because of its unique advantages. Thestructure of the Position Sensorless PMSM Motor Controller is simple,the price ischeap and the performance is good. PID controllers are used in this system andthere’s tight coupling between PID parameters and motor parameters. It is difficult tocalibrate the parameters of the controller because the types of the motors which iscontrolled by the system are diverse,the situations in which the motors are appliedare different,and the performance indexes are various. Therefore,the research forparameter of position sensorless PMSM motor controller automatic calibrationsystem is significant,which can reduce the time of system debug,increase theproductivity,achieve optimal matching of the motor controller parameters andimprove the intelligence level of the motor controller.This thesis is mainly about the research for parameter of position sensorlessPMSM motor controller automatic calibration system,the system can implement thefunction of motor parameters automatic identification and then make use of theresult to calibrate the parameters of the motor controller automatically. Firstly,thisthesis describes the physical structure and the mathematical model of the PMSMmotor,and as a basis for analysis of the principles and methods of PMSM vectorcontrol. The writer of this thesis built the FOC vector control simulation model ofthe speed and current central double-loop control structure with the tool of MATLAB Simulink in order to verify the feasibility of the control strategy. And thenthe writer analyzed the relationship between the current loop PI controller parameters,the speed loop PI controller parameters and motor parameters. Secondly,this thesisdescribes the means of the motor parameters identification without changing theinverter topology and adding the additional circuit. The motor parameters includingstator resistor, direct axis inductances, quadrature axis inductances, EMFcoefficient and moment of inertia can be identified. Thirdly,this thesis describes thehardware design ideas and the scheme of the system,selections of the master chipand the smart power module and the design of some functional circuit. Then itdescribes design idea and control processes of the underlying software system andthe functions of PC software. Finally, the writer used two different motors whichwere controlled by the system to verify the functionality and made the prospect ofthe future work.
