Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is widely applied in the modern motion control system for the advantages of the small size, light weight and high efficiency. In recent years, the control technology of PMSM based on speed sensorless method is concerned widely. Compared with the traditional mechanical sensors, speed sensorless technology not only reduces the cost but also increases the stability. In this paper, on the base of researching the Port-controlled Hamiltonian system, using the speed sensorless technology estimates the speed and the position of the motor, by which the speed and the position are realized.First of all, the article introduces the development at home and aboard, the main and control circuit, the control strategy and the speed sensorless method of the PMSM control system, then analyzes the advantages and disadvantages.Secondly, we introduce coordinate transformation, the mathematical model, and vector control theory. Then we finish the simulation of the PMSM's speed control based on vector control and SVPWM theory.Thirdly, we study the energy-shaping control methods of PCH system, including state PCH method and state error PCH method, then we get the speed control of PMSM based on the two methods. We finish the PCH speed control of PMSM based on sensorless method. We mainly introduce three sensorless methods, including model reference adaptive system(MRAS) method, sliding mode method and the state observer. Then we establish the simulation model and the result verifies the control method has good Dynamic performance and static performance as well as the ability of anti-load disturbance.Then, we complete the position control of PMSM using the state error PCH method and the sensorless method based on MRAS theory. The simulation result shows the good control performance.At last, we make a summary for the work of the paper, then the problems that need to be resolved in the future are presented and the future research directions are proposed.
