In modern industrial production areas, the AC drive has completely occupied the leading position in the field of transmission. Modernization of industrial production requires higher performance on motor control system, better accuracy, more rapid response speed and stronger ability of rejection of constant unknown disturbances and a wider speed range of the motor. Because of its low loss, high reliability, small size, high efficiency and some other superior characteristics. In industrial production, PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) has been widely used. When the PMSM is used in the occasion of high accuracy and strong anti-interference, ordinary PID control strategy is difficult to meet the control requirements, so in this thesis, it presents a novel control strategy for velocity tracking of PMSM to achieve higher accuracy. This thesis mainly focuses on the model of the PMSM which is considered within the port-Hamiltonian framework. First of all, it introduces some basic knowledge about motor control, such as the motor-related development history. Second, it deduces PMSM mathematical model in the d-q coordinate system. This thesis also introduces a commonly used field-oriented control based on the PI regulator motor control method, and then designs speed tracking control of PMSM based on I&I and Hamiltonian theory with integral control for dealing with unknown external disturbance. The author did simulation for them separately by using Simulink, and observed the effect of two kinds of control strategy. Comparing the simulation results show the value of this control method. When simulating this control strategy in the Simulink, the author studied the control performance and tuned some parameters and observed each parameter impact on system performance. In the last of this thesis, the superiority of the novel control strategy of speed tracking control of PMSM based on I&I and Hamiltonian theory has be presented. The speed control system has a good rejection capability for load disturbances, with good dynamic and static performance and good robustness. The controller design in this novel way is easy to achieve, less parameters, and the meaning clear, simple adjustment.
