Urban Design In Waterfront Planning And Implementation Strategy

Urban design as an effective means of technology has been increasingly used to development city in all aspects and stages. It is a concern subject of urban public space and focus on the relationship between the physical arrangement of urban and community residents'mental health. With the connection to Guangzhou and Foshan, Luweiqiao Area as core area of the South China Sea, hoping through the use of urban design, integration of urban land use and industrial layout, the use of block guidelines to implement planning, waterfront landscape while achieving the city's remodeling. The planning's core strategies is urban design in the application of the waterfront, this theory, empirical research and case studies from the following aspects of urban design in urban waterfront planning applications, the paper includes the following four parts:Chapter 1 Introduction: This study describes the background, purpose and significance of research, research perspectives, research contents, methods and frameworks. Define the relevant concepts, the concepts involved in this paper to define and discrimination, including urban design, urban waterfront planning.Chapter 2 The basic problems of Waterfront Urban Design: a preliminary analysis of China's urban waterfront development status, the process of evolution and characteristics, through reflection and summary of foreign country's waterfront area urban design, to identify both similarities and differences.Chapter 3 Urban design in waterfront area's design and implementation: In accordance with the order from whole to part, focuses on the waterfront urban design approach. First established planning objectives and principles; and then thought the perspective of landscape ecology to explain the waterfront urban design strategy; then, based on building the overall development framework, and urban development axis and urban open space, from the surface, lines, points and other aspects, discussed the design of waterfront urban design of the system.Chapter 4 Project - Sanshan Luweiqiao Area Urban Design: With the Sanshan Luweiqiao Area urban Design examples to illustrate the feasibility of the planning and design methods. To analyze location and base, development planning, the core area of urban design and other aspects, and the practice proved proposed planning method.Finally, conclusion is stated: the application of waterfront urban design should be the design basis for base conditions, pay attention to grasp the overall and sustainable development consideration of waterfront, the urban waterfront is constantly updated to play a greater the role.
