| Green design is a design method which considers a product's environmental attributes in its life cycle, makes the product meet the environmental requirements, and considers the product's basic functions, life and other factors in parallel at the same time. With the global energy crisis and people's understanding on the product and life gradually, people require the product be of high greenness.As essential household appliances in modern life, green design for electric cookers is of great significance because of their widely usage. Design of electric cookers complied with green requirements is of positive and practical significance to alleviate the global energy crisis and environment protection. The main research work in the paper is as follows:A simple evaluation method of green materials is established to evaluate the materials available for the electric cookers for selecting the materials which conform to green requirements.Saving on materials is one important aspect of green design. For work safety needs of an electrical pressure cooker, ANSYS software is used to optimize its body structure for meeting the safety requirements and saving the use of material at the same time.The electrical energy consumed in the electric pressure cooker's usage accounts for a large part of the energy consumed in the whole life cycle of the cooker. A fluid analysis software, Fluent, is used to simulate the process of heating water in the electric pressure cooker, analyze the heat effects, and provide theoretical guidance for designing products of higher thermal efficiency.Nowadays the serious problem "white pollution" in large part is due to the waste of packaging materials. Aiming at the disadvantage of packaging materials used in the electric cookers, biodegradable materials are proposed to use instead,which not only meet the requirements of the product packaging, but also conform to the concept of green designInformation such as materials and structure for green design of electric cookers is collected and analyzed, and a green design database system for electric cookers is established, which provides basic data supports for the green design of electric cookers. |
