With the vigorous development of China's transportation industry, as an important device for lifting the crane machineries are developing toward the high-speed, heavy direction, so the mechanical performance requirements are increasing. The crane works frequently, in most cases under the dynamic load. The welded steel will be suddenly ruptured, resulting in catastrophic equipment accidents and personal injuries. The crane girder is an important metal structure to the crane. The carrying capacity often determines the main properties of cranes. Therefore, the performance of the main beam of the crane research is necessary. This topic is raised under this context and has some practical significance. In this paper, a branch of the X gantry cranes grab are studied, andwhose the main beam is a truss-style. Analysis of three working conditions, the stress and strain distribution of truss girder in each condition are gained, which tell us the position of the maximum strain, maximum stress. Through the model of dynamic analysis, the value of the first 15 natural frequencies and the first three mode shapes and map are given and are necessary reference to the future transformation of crane girder. In the project there are a lot of uncertainties. Uncertainty is the inherent characteristics of a variety of things in nature. By use of ANSYS PDS (reliability analysis), the main beam of the truss model is analyzed to know what influence of input parameters are on the performance of truss girder, and indicators of reliability analysis are used to judge the results of the analysis, thereby they can enhance the accuracy of the analysis.By use the MATLAB Simulink, the truss girder vibration velocity is simulated, and is the same as the actual measurement results, and it proves that the simulation is reliable.
