Bridge girder erection machine is the large construction machinery which hoistsprefabricated beam and assembles the prefabricated sections, it is widely used in road andbridge construction. In the construction process of bridge girder erection machine, its maintruss plays a very important role, it is responsible for passing the weight which comesfrom master winch trolley and lifting hanger through the leg to pier or bridge, it is themain bearing member of the launching girder. So the strength?stiffness and stability of themain truss would meet the relevant standard and the actual construction requirements,meet the relevant standard and the actual construction requirements, it plays a decisiverole about the actual work. Because the structure of the main truss is complex, if only usethe classical mechanics to calculate and analysis the main truss, must have a lot ofhypothesis and simplification, so the accuracy of result is lost. And it will waste a lot oftime?energy and resources.In this paper,taking the LG40launching girder in HongKong Bypass-Tunnel andIsland East Corridor as the research object, with the large-scale general finite elementsoftware ANSYS as the main tool, to analysis the strength?stiffness?stability and modalsimulation of the main truss under the typical conditions, and check anti-overturning ofthe launching girder on the maximum cantilever, and the structure will be optimized andimproved bases on the result of calculations. In order to get the purpose of shorting theconstruction and cost saving. The main content of this paper is:(1)There is an introduction about the background knowledge of the launching girder,Introduces the development situation of the launching girder in domestic and abroad.(2)Descript the constituent structure?working principle?main performance parametersand the overall plane in detail of the actual construction.(3)The operating procedures of the launching girder is carefully studied, select themost typical working conditions from these operating procedures, then analysis thelaunching girder in the typical load cases.(4)Study the loading experiment of the LG40launching girder from the testingmethods and the procedures. And compare the theoretical analysis and the testing results.Verify the correctness of theoretical anslysis and rationality.
