With the development of computers and electronic technology, country's industrialization and building intellectualized standards are continuously growing, new energy is continuous developping and utilizing, large capacity rectifier converter, electronic equipment are used widely in all kinds of industrial department and power automatic control system,so,the harmonics pollution is becoming more and more serious.Harmonics increase electric energy loss, reduce equipment life,distort the power network and damadge the connected power-consuming equipment, disturb circumjacent communication facilities. Systemic real-time measurement and real-time analysis of harmonic component is very necessary to grasp the actual conditions of the harmonic bringing, spreading and affecting. Through real-time measuring,we can conduct the valid measure to restrain its affect and guarantee the safely operation of power network.The paper firstly summarize harmonic concept, harmonic bringing, harmonic harm, and harmonic measuring methods.Then, introduce the power system peculiarity and harmonic status of YINZHOU city. According to this, propose methods for the harmonic systemic measurement and synthetical management, design communication system of harmonic monitoring system base on fibre-optical and GPRS, analyse and compare the measuring terminal unit choice of transformer substation, distribution substation, consumer side.According to the primary harmonic measuring system,give the actual harmonic measuring data of 110kV QIANAO substation,35kV HENXI substation and some big harmonic fountain factory. Analyse the influence of harmonic and capacitor to each other, provide actual data and material analysis,then give the passive power filter parameter of 110kV JIACUN substation and 35kV HENXI substation. According to the 10kV generatrix and correlative line's actual harmonic measuring data of 110kV QIANAO substation, calculate the capacity of static var generator,and choose the type of static var generator. After the equipment running, provide actual data and material analysis on different compensating parameter. On-line measuring data indicate that harmonic management achieve expecting effect, finally point out the using limit of static var generator.On-line monitoring of harmonic fully from substation to low voltage customer is the precondition to solve harmonic problem of YINZHOU power network,using transformer insulation,passive power filter, active power filter etc are effective guarantee of harmonic management. Through analyzing actual harmonic measuring data,studying harmonic management methods, we have contrapuntally managed harmonics in serious polluting district, acquired better effect.
