In power electronics technology today, many non-linear load range and a variety of rectifier equipment applied more widely, all walks of life to its dependence on increasingly high. But such devices but also to power quality has brought a greater impact. Among them, the harmonic pollution generated by such devices is an important cause of power quality is not high, so that the safe operation of the power supply enterprises and economic benefits subject to varying degrees of influence, it is difficult to fully exert the function of power supply equipment, and equipment of life will greatly reduce harm caused to the entire power supply system should not be overlooked. Therefore, harmonic detection and treatment is urgently needed to resolve the current grid operation an important research topic.Through the mechanism of paper harmonic generation, distribution and harmonic source harmonic measurement conducted in-depth research, draw passive filter, active filter, SVC is the conclusion of the current mainstream of harmonic governance. The main source of the current harmonic distribution grid in the cities studied showed Zhucheng grid frequency furnace is the main harmonic source, and according to the different characteristics of intermediate frequency furnace users, the harmonic content of a larger user base will be a small intermediate frequency furnace the detection and analysis. The analysis revealed that the installation of passive harmonic filters can fully control such hazards arising IF furnace. However, for some large steel enterprises large intermediate frequency furnace, it can not meet its requirements for the comprehensive management of power quality, because only governance passive filtering harmonics and improve the power factor, voltage fluctuation phenomena can not be improved, to this end in on the basis of passive filtering, specifically an increase of TCR branch improve the voltage fluctuations. Through the preliminary simulation results before and after filtering equipment put into operation voltage and current show, SVC (TCR+FC) put into operation after fully meet the needs of large and stable system voltage frequency furnace, improve system power factor, improve power quality requirements. Active Filter although governance would be better, but its advanced technology, small size. However, because of the expensive cost and smaller capacity, currently harder to be accepted by some intermediate frequency furnace users. Through this study, giving users the harmonic frequency furnace control provides an important reference.
