An Emergency Communications platform is designed aimed to make up the shortfall of traditional way of emergency networking in the urban rail transit systems in which the accidents will come across in the underground tunnels, stations or viaducts where the emergency communication vehicles could not be used or even there is no satellite signal covered. The platform is ideal for setting up wireless network swiftly in complex terrain and confined space. The thesis details the design of the platform such as the operation mode design, configuration mode design, communication protocol design between networking equipment, communication data structure design, access awareness design, information pushing module design and so on.The major works been done in the thesis as follows:(1) Researched the solutions of implementing the platform in universal Mesh equipment.(2) Designed the basic communication protocol of the platform.(3) Researched the basic functions the platform could provide to assist rescue works(4) Researched the solutions of the network optimization.In the thesis we also well designed the basic data structure and algorithm of the key part of platform such as data security checking algorithm, network topology maintenance algorithm and network performance optimization algorithm. The platform could be implemented easily according to the thesis.
