Nowadays, as social activities became more frequent and people's consumption grew rapidly, consequently environmental load increased continuously and pollution was worse and worse. Thus, as a methodology of achieving sustainable economy, Product-Service System (PSS) emerged, and extended enterprise value chain to service sectors in the back-end. In the condition of reducing resource consumption and environmental impact, value-added services made the products to realize social benefits as much as possible. Being in the middle stage of PSS and related product lifecycle, MRO is a general term of various services activities, i.e., all kinds of maintenance, repair, major repair, and operation, in this stage. Without sufficient theoretical and pragmatic support, MRO should be backed by integral technology framework. Based on Zhejiang Province High-Tech Prime Program entitled "Research and Application of Key Technologies for Modern Manufacturing Service", this thesis studied in-depth several key technologies of MRO services of complex equipment. Hangzhou steam Turbine Company (HTC), as a case study, was studied to validate research achievement of related technologies. A whole MRO services management information system was also developed.Chapter 1 introduced the background of Product-Service System (PSS) and indicated the importance of studying PSS and related MRO services. Domestic and international research status quo in the related areas was also reviewed and analyzed. As a result, research content and structure of this thesis was given.Chapter 2 analyzed the issues of MRO services, i.e., the concept, the position and function in the product lifecycle, and the main business content. The system architecture, integrating model, and support technology system were also systematically studied. The key technologies were pointed out to indicate the direction and highlights of subsequent research.Chapter 3 described in detail distant fault diagnosis technology in the MRO services of complex equipment, and its related connotation, content, function, and requirements. Structure and business models of distant fault diagnosis system were established according to the features of MRO services. Two methods of diagnosing faults were proposed. One based on product model number management detection configuration; the other one based on vibration signal analysis.Chapter 4 developed the models of business objects and business processes in the service staff scheduling. Based on scheduling rules, multi-objective decision model was established. Improved genetic algorithm and related evaluation methods are utilized to intelligently select the most appropriate service staff team to execute MRO tasks. Simulation experiment and related programs were developed to validate the feasibility of this decision model and algorithm.Chapter 5 studied the features and realization technologies of Geographic Information System (GIS), which was applied to position and track MRO objects. It provided a vivid and clear way for enterprises in MRO information management.Chapter 6 applied the theories and technologies methodologies above at Hangzhou steam Turbine Company (HTC) and described at length the design thoughts, function modules, and development procedure of MRO services management system for complex equipment. System performance was presented to verify the application of the technologies above.Chapter 7 summarized research work and innovations of this thesis and gave a prospect for future studies.
