Making heat treatment process of brake disc as the research object, the studies have been carried out in the numerical analysis and experimental research of the temperature field, stress field and microstructure field of brake disc heat treatment process. Further more, the studies can be generally used for the heat treatment process of other materials and types of brake disc.The study has been carried out in the temperature field of the heat treatment process of brake disc. The temperature field mathematical model of the brake disc heat treatment process has been established and the temperature field studies have been carried out in the no-moulding process and the moulding process. A temperature measurement system based on the heat treatment process of brake disc has been design. And through the temperature measuring using the temperature measurement system, the numerical simulation results of the temperature have been verified. What's more, the temperature field of the moulding process has been predicted, considering the influence of the temperature field of the top die and the bottom die.The study has been carried out in the stress field and deformation of the heat treatment process of brake disc. The stress field mathematical model of the brake disc heat treatment process has been established and the stress field studies have been carried out in the no-moulding process and the moulding process. Then through the stress measuring using the hole-drilling method, the numerical simulation results of the stress have been verified. And through the deformation measuring using imagine measuring instrument, the numerical simulation results of the deformation have been verified.The study has been carried out in the microstructure field and hardness of the heat treatment process of brake disc. The microstructure field mathematical model of the brake disc heat treatment process has been established and the microstructure field studies have been carried out in the no-moulding process and the moulding process. Then through the microstructure measuring using metallographic microscope, the numerical simulation results of the microstructure have been verified. And through the hardness measuring using Rockwell hardness tester, the numerical simulation results of the hardness have been verified.The generality of the study has been verified in the numerical analysis of the heat treatment process of brake disc. The simulation system of the brake disc's heat treatment process has been proven to be general by taking a certain dish type of brake disc as an example. And its moulding process has been the focus of the study.
