Because of reducing high energy and maintenance costs in motor control applications, BLDC motors are seeing a resurgence in applications where efficiency and reliability are important. In recent years, with widely used in many fields, sensorless control is more and more useful than sensor control in many applications, and it is a trend of control technique for brushless BLDC motors. The dsPIC30F motor control devices are ideally suited to drive and control a wide range of BLDC motor types, in a large number of applications.In this paper, at the base of the analysis and research of brushless dc motor (BLDCM) working principle and control method, use the dsPIC30F3010 Digital Signal Controlller as the core controller, adopt the traditional "BEMF" control technology, design the hardware circuit of the BLDCM control system, and introduce the work principle of the component circuit in detail. Then, in view of BLDC motor speed control characteristics, do research into speed and current double closed loop control strategy, and based on the characteristics of the dsPIC30F3010 Digital Signal Controlller, to make full use of the resources of the chip, designed the software of the system, and give the corresponding software design scheme, the flow chart and part of the code.aiming at motor speed is very slowly, BEMF amplitude is too low to test, use a " three- step " starting technology, and carry the detailed analysis on position locating, open loop accelerating and no sensor control operation.Finally, debug the software and hardware of the control system, conduct the no-load experiment of the BLDCM, give the experiment results and carry on the analysis, verify the feasibility of the control system solutions. The result of the experiment shows that the control system can make the motor start successfully and achieves the correct commutation and normal running, also very good to achieve the goals of stable speed. It proves that the design of the system is feasible.
