With the rapid development of automobile industry, cars bring convenience to people's daily life, but at the same time, they also bring serious environmental pollution. According to statistics, the current vehicle emissions of pollutants have become the main source of air pollution. The country's increasingly stringent vehicle emission regulations, a sharp contradiction between limited petroleum resources and increasing car usage appeared, therefore saving energy and reducing vehicle emissions pollution is one of the priorities of the automotive engineering sector science and technology personnel. The traditional way of the fuel supply and ignition system engine is far from being able to meet the requirements of the automotive engine power, economy and emissions, etc, so it was eliminated, and replaced by the electronic engine. At the same time, the rapid development of electronic technology, computer speed, word length and memory capacity, rapid growth, and provides the possibility for the development of automotive electronic technology. In recent years, with the continuous development of the automotive industry and electronics industry, the application of electronic technology in the modern car becomes more widely and the degree of automotive electronics becomes more increasingly, it has become the most important indicator to measure the car a modern level of quality and grade.In this paper, for the status of China's automobile engine and the primary task of achieving electronic control and reducing emitted pollutants. By analysing the information on research and development of domestic and foreign gasoline electrical control system, combined with our actual situation, by selecting465Q electrical control gasoline the as the object of study, and the gasoline engine electronic control as the main direction, we finish for the hardware and software design mainly for the gasoline fuel injection and ignition systems of the electronic control system.We select the80C196KC which is16digit and produced by Intel Corporation as the main chip, and design hardware circuit and auxiliary circuits and software system for fuel injection system and ignition system of465Q gasoline engine, system hardware design mainly includes three aspects:first, the overall design of the ECU; second, signal acquisition and processing circuit design; third, fuel injection and ignition system drive circuit design. In software design, by adding modular software design, this article divided the different operating conditions of the gasoline as individual modules, so that each module looks structured, makes the whole control system is easy to expand and maintain.According to the characteristic of gasoline engine in idling work, the PID control theory and fuzzy control theory are applied in idle speed control of the gasoline engine, and this paper discusses the three kinds of idling control system on gasoline engine, which named the conventional PID idle control system, idling fuzzy control system and idle fuzzy self-tuning PID control system. Finally the paper completes simulation study for control system of engine idle speed in Matlab Simulink simulation environment.Finally, from the simulation results, it can be seen that the three kinds of schemes have no obvious difference in the regulation time, but from the overshoots perspective, idle fuzzy self-tuning PID control system is better than idle fuzzy control system, the idle fuzzy control system is better than conventional PID idle speed control system. So, in the three idle speed control scheme, the idle fuzzy self-tuning PID control system scheme is the best program.
