Xi'an International Horticultural Expo Park Sustainability Landscape Planning Studies

Nowadays, modern big international exhibitions play an more and more important role in the communication of the economics, culture and technology among countries all over the world. Every country that holds this sort of exhibition tries to make full use of it to develop the local economics. Although the success of exhibitions itself have been paid more attention in the past, now the post-use of Expo Park attracted more attention, as the development of Expo Exhibition. What's more, the post use of Expo Park has been treated as a symbol of the success of an exhibition. As the material expression of an international exhibition, the post-use also a part of the whole Expo Park, it has significant meaning to the development of local economics and society.The research content of this paper is as following:Chapter1:Raise the research background and problem.Chapter2:Analyze the purpose and meaning of this study, and address the research review of the landscape planning of Expo Park at home and abroad, including profiles of the landscape planning of Expo Park at home and abroad, and status and revelation of the landscape planning of Expo Park at home and abroad. At last, raise the research methods, guiding ideology and technology roadmap.Chapter3:introduce the sustainable development strategy, regional protection and regional planning theory, to build theoretical basis for the study.Chapter4:introduce the basic methods of landscape planning, and the principles should be obeyed are local principle, ecological principle and principles of art.Chapter5:address the landscape planning approach combined combining regional planning, the pavilion planning and landscape planning; analyze the planning principles, as well as the meso-and macro-level landscape design methods.Chapter6:this part is the core, and analyzes the repeal and post-use of the Expo Park by the case of Xi'an World Horticultural Expo Park.
