In2011, China officially entered the" five twelve" period of rapid development, the State Grid Corporation and the Jinzhong power grid has entered into a new historical starting point. In recent years, with the rapid development of our society and economy, the electric power resource demand is also growing, therefore the future for our country's power grid structure construction raised taller requirement. However, the rapid development of network has brought a series of influence also is shown gradually, equipment operation mode diversification, complex, intelligent integration degree, improve staff ensure stability of security of electrified wire netting has brought great challenges.Nineteen eighties later stage, along with the rapid development of computer technology and produced a kind of visualization in scientific computing (English Name:Visualization in Scientific Computing, abbreviation:VISC), referred to as the visualization technology. With the appearance of it can put the power produced by a variety of complex data through a computer program that converts the graphics or images, thus let the staff understand intuitively clear grid operation state, the next step for the analysis and control provide detailed basis. With the Jinzhong power grid into the period of rapid development, more and more new problems are constantly emerging, makes in-depth research of power system visualization is more necessary. Through the use of the United States of America PowerWorld company developed PowerWorld Simulator visualization software, power flow calculation for the production of the continuous calculation and directly on the image display, and can be operated in the visual simulation software, is conducive to the realization of human and grid system to achieve a good interaction.Currently used in the computation of optimal power flow considering most are still confined to the simple optimization after the economy, not a comprehensive consideration of various factors such as safety, no longer meet the needs for optimal operation of power grid. To meet the specific conditions of the security constrained optimal power flow problem, through the use of the system in a variety of control means to achieve the intended target, and carries on the adjustment to achieve optimal steady state. The economic performance, maneuverability and flow calculation of com., using power flow equations, solving constrained nonlinear problem, the reliability, safety and electric energy quality as parameters, in order to achieve the optimal allocation of resources, quality services to customers and reduce the transmission cost target. According to PowerWorld Simulator visualization software, some districts of Jinzhong transmission network security constrained optimal power flow calculation, obtained the power dispatching departments expected results and clear interface. At the same time, the available transmission capability of Jinzhong power grid (abbreviation:ATC) was a kind of sensitivity analysis method, carried on the corresponding simulation experiment, and the control system is tested, it proves that this method has rapid calculation and high accuracy.
