| The market operation of electric power systen has become tendency in china.Now, in the large interconnected power system, how to transmit more power to satisfy the power market demand using the existing transmission network considering security and stability has became an urgent problem. The following studies are done in this paper: calculation model of Available Transfer Capability (ATC) is bulided, sensitivity analysis is used to solve ATC quickly of determinate states, based on this Montle Carlo Simulation is used to consider the effect of uncertainties and simulate the system states then get the correspongding probability index of ATC; look for measures to improve ATC especially FACTS device, calculation model of ATC with FACTS devices is builded and sensitivity analysis is used to solve this model. The software of probability ATC and ATC with FACTS calculation is developed by VC++ and PSASP/UPI. Numerical tests in IEEE 14-bus test system and Southern Hebei Power Grid are used to verify the presented approaches. The results show the models and algorithms are effective and utility. |
