| A MicroGrid is composed of various distributed energy resources as a low voltage, which supply electric power to the local area. It is an effective supplement to the bulk power system and a highly active form used by the distribute dgeneration. MicroGrid has the ability to increase the reliability of the power system by networking and island mode conversion. MicroGrid economic dispatch(ED) problem become more and more urgent. This article firstly researches the influence of the existing power generation scheduling when the microgrid penetration in the conventional grid. A practical and efficient approach called DSM is chosen to solve the ED problem, which could deal with a large number of inequality and equality constraints. A original tactics with multi-level convergence is incorporated in the DSM to minimize the number of total iterations in the searching procedure and prevent local optimization. The article makes use of the penalty function-direct search method(PF-DSM) to further modify the traditional DSM to improve computation efficiency. It helps to facilitate economic sharing of microgrid reserve and generation across regions, and try to minimize the total production cost in the multi-area coordination ED problem. What's more, certain number of technique constraints are chosen to decide the optimal proportion of microgrid capacity which could be integrated into the multi-area isolated net. Specific numerical tests are included to find out the effects of microgrid capacity in total generation cost analysis and to illustrate the influences of transmission capacity restricts in microgrid penetration level in each area. This paper presented the solution method for the economic dispatch problem considering spinning reserve, flow limit between two control areas and added reserve requirement for the reliable operation during an islanded mode related to the operation of the microgrid. We build micro-network configuration based on UPC and FFC two modes of DG power control model, and formulate various constraints related to the operation of the microgrid. The nets economic scheduling problem is solved by the MAPPF combined with the improved direct searching method. We examine the influence of the reserve for variation of load and the inter-area flow limit on the generation cost, then investigate how the reserve for the islanded operation affects the generation cost through calculating the cost under all kinds of load levels and the amount of power from the BPS. This paper provides the optimal power reference of DGs. |
