As is a new ship type of good capability, wave piercing catamaran has recently been attracting the world's attention. This type of ship has a lot of advantages, such as high speed and seaworthiness, which of reason is that special line of bow can provide stability in high seas. But wave piercing catamaran also has the limits that the performance improvement of pitch is not obvious at larger wavelength.In order to make wave piercing catamaran suitable for sailing in the broader sea, this subject does the research on Ride Control System for Wave-piercing catamaran with T-foil. By designing of T-foil, which is a active recycling device, the ship has greater restore moment of pitch.RCS can control the longitudinal motion of WPC by the T-foil restoring force and moment.Based on this special line of wave piercing catamaran, this thesis applies a new type of appendage called T-foil.In consideration of this multihulled ship, this paper applies2.5D theory to do numerical calculation for hydrodynamic coefficient, and do the programming about this algorithm.In the process of Controller Design, this paper applies μ synthesis theory and reconstructs the weight functions based on uncertainty model of longitudinal motion.In final, this paper reports a preliminary research on the hardware and software design of RCS.
