For the purpose to saving energy and reducing consumption to coal power unit, this paper establishes the thermal efficiency index and consumption calculation model with equivalent enthalpy drop method, applicates it to a power unit in Inner Mongolia province. and it identify the factors affecting coal consumption. Also, it introduces the thermal economics-line monitoring software which used in power plant.Firstly, while calculating thermal economic index and analyzing the energy-loss, the traditional study methods have advantages and disadvantages, it combines the advantages of them and chooses more accurate calculation model. Else, vacuum target of air-cooling condenser is the focus of this paper. At the same time, it classifies influence factors of energy-loss, analyzes all controllable factors respectively, and introduces the calculating method of energy-loss coefficient.Secondly, the research is aimed at a project of power plant in Inner Mongolia province, it analyzes the thermal economic of typical conditions in winter and summer, and obtains thermal economic indicators, combining actual operating data of600MW unit; it makes the energy-loss analysis of four typical woking conditions(MCR, ECR,70%ECR,50%ECR) and draws optimizing operation curves.Lastly, the paper describes the thermal economics-line monitoring and analysis system of power plant, including the main functions and display interface. The application of this system can make operator control unit better.
