In the background of the rapid development of the long-ban bridge construction in china, deeply study materials that suit for construction of bridge pavement required has become a key to solve the problem of the steel bridge deck.Our country was firstly introduced the epoxy asphalt concrete pavement technology in the construction of Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, which achieved favorable results. It not only demonstrates the advantages of epoxy asphalt concrete but also turn over a new leaf for the application of epoxy asphalt concrete pavement to steel bridge in our country.The previous study was mostly concentrated on foreign epoxy asphalt., and the development and research of domestic epoxy asphalt is just in the starting phase. Therefore, this thesis will study and evaluate the performance of domestic epoxy asphalt and its mixture, and make engineering applicability analysis, which aims to accelerate the process of researches on steel deck pavement technology of domestic epoxy asphalt mixture.Through theoretical analysis and related tests, this paper screened out the necessary preparation of epoxy asphalt epoxy curing agents among media types and materials, determined the various components of the Epoxy Asphalt appropriate ratio, and investigated related properties of epoxy asphalt that prepared. Then, it prepared a good mixture of epoxy asphalt mix design, and determined the scope of mineral aggregate gradation, the optimum asphalt mixture specimen conservation ratio and the parameters of temperature and time .After determining the epoxy asphalt mixture gradation and the optimum asphalt content, this paper conducted a series of laboratory tests on its strength, high temperature rutting resistance, low temperature cracking resistance, water stability, friction, and seepage behavior to make comprehensive analysis, and contrasted these performances with similar epoxy asphalt materials.Finally, according to the time-temperature characteristics of epoxy asphalt and the results of indoor overtime and overtemprature tests on epoxy asphalt mixture, this thesis put forward reasonable suggestions and tetechnical requirements for the construction of epoxy asphalt concrete steel bridge deck pavement, which provide technical support for promotion and application of epoxy asphalt concrete in the future.
