A study was conducted to evaluate the effects of meat and bone meal (MBM) as the replacement of fish meal in the diets on survival, growth performance, carcass composition, digestion enzyme activity, serum biochemical parameters, immune index of Monopterus albus with supplementation of crystalline Met and Lys.1800 Monopterus albus were chosed in this experiment are health, specifications similar (average body weight was 11.76±0.20g), and were divided into 18 groups randomly. Each group was consisted of triplicated. The experimental diets included 0%,12.5%,25%,37.5%,50%,50% MBM iso-nitrogenous replacement of total fishmeal respectively. The diet were fed to juvenile albus for 90 days. The results showed that:1. There is no significant difference of suvival rate in all groups, and each group was above 92%. The weight gain decreased linearly among the treatments fed with 0%-50% MBM replacement of fishmea(P<0.05). Group I has the best growth rate, significant higher than IV, V and VI. Hepatosomatic index was higest in group I and higher than other groups significant (P<0.05).2. Differ levels of MBM replace fishmeal had no significant difference effect on carass moisture and crude protein. Crude ash was linearly increased significantly form 0%-50% MBM replacement(P<0.05). Crude lipid was highest in group III and has no significant difference between group I, II and A/I.3. Asp,Thr,Ser,Glu,Pro,Gly,Ala,Val,He,Leu,Met,Tyr,Phe,Arg,His,Lys content of carass increase significantly with the increasing of MBM content. Total animo acid and Flavor Amino Acids content of albus body increase with increasing of MBM replacement of fishmeal significantly (P<0.05).4. Differ levels of MBM replace fishmeal had no significant difference affect on Lipase activity and Amylase activity. Trypsin activity was highest in group I, significant higher than other groups(P<0.05), but no significant difference in group II-VI.5. GPT was not significant affected by the diet treatment, but the content of serum GOT,AA,TG,Glu and CHOL were significantly decreased (P<0.05) with the increased content of MBM (P<0.05).6. The immunity of albus significantly decreased with the increassing of MBM (P<0.05). LSZ was decreased significantly with increased of MBM replacement level, and highest in group I (2.65U/mgprot). SOD and STP were significant higer in group I than other groups(P<0.05); there is no significant difference between group III and II. Alb was lower in group III than other gourps, and increasing with increased of MBM replacement except group III.
