This study was aim to explore the effect of taurine which on growth performance, digestibility, immunity, stress, intestinal and hepatic morphology structure and physiological and biochemical indexes of partial metabolism when ricefield eel fed high plant protein.1. High meal (42% fish meal) as positive control group, low fish meal (32% fish meal) as negative control group, and other groups was supplemented with 0,0.03%,0.06%,0.09%, 0.12%,0.15% taurine in negative concrol group respectively, to explore the effect of taurine on growth performance, immune and stress.Experimental results showed as followed: compared with the high meal(42%) positive control group, growth performance, immunity and stress ability were significantly decreased of low fish meal (32%) negative control group (P<0.05).The growth performance showed increased at first and then decreased, immunity and emergency ability were significantly increasted with taurine level increase in low fish meal feed (P<0.05). Ricefield eel fed diet with 0.09% taurine had the best effect. By the analysis of two regression curves, this experiment showed that eel demand for taurine was 3.362-3.372g/Kg under the condition of low fish meal.2. Set high meal (42%) as positive control group,low fish meal (22%) as negative control group, and the other groups supplemented with 0,0.2%,0.05% taurine in low fish meal (22%) concrol negative group respectively, to explore the effect of taurine on digestibility, immunity, stress, intestinal and hepatic morphology structure and physiological and biochemical indexes of partial metabolism. Experimental results showed as followed: compared with the high meal(42%) positive control group, digestibility was significantly decreased, hepatoenteral tissue structure injury was serious, part of protein and fat metabolism indicators were significantly affected which in low fish meal (22%) negative control group (P<0.05). The digestibility had been significantly improved (P<0.05), hepatoenteral tissue structure injury had been repaired (P<0.05), protein metabolism indicators had changed toward to synthetic direction (P<0.05), and fat metabolism indicators had changed toward to decomposed direction (P<0.05).In conclusion:Taurine could effectively improve the problem which the high plant protein feed caused that the growth performance, digestibility, immunity and stress ability. Protein synthesis and metabolism ability were decreased and hepatoenteral tissue structure injury.But taurine could strengthen fat metabolism at the same time.
