2008-day-old Avian broliers were chosen as the experimental animals,were divided into 5 groups randomly as follows:control group(fed on corn-soybean meal,As0.1mg/kg+Se0.2mg/kg);only arsenic group(add AS2O3,contain As3mg/kg);add both AS2O3 and NaSeO3 group(low Se group:As 3mg/kg+Se 5mg/kg;mid Se group:As 3mg/kg+Se 10mg/kg;high Se group:As 3mg/kg+Se 15mg/kg). Observing the indexes such as growth performance,humoral immunity and cellular immunity, to study the impact of arsenic on immune and the relationship between selenium and arsenic on immune toxicity. The result indicated that:(1) the growth of chicken can be affected by 3mg/kg arsenic, the average daily feed intake and average daily gain were reduced, feed conversion ratio increased;5-10mg/kg selenium can reduce the growth inhibition by arsenic, the average daily feed intake and Daily gain increased significantly, the arsenic group decreased when compared with the arsenic group; 15mg/kg selenium can increase arsenic toxicity on growth performance. (2) 3mg/kg arsenic has the toxicity of lymphocute, can reduce the positive rate and conversion rate of chicken lymphocytes in blood,induce apoptosis,DNA damage;the indexes was higher by 5 and 10mg/kg selenium when compared with the arsenic group, and the 10mg/kg group was best; the 15mg/kg selenium group could incresed the toxicity of arsenic,caused the indicators were higher than the arsenic group.(3)The IgG,IgA,IgM,total protein albumin and globulin contents in blood reduced by 3mg/kg arsenic;the protein content in the blood were increased by 5 and 10 mg/kg selenium group, and the 10 mg/kg group is the best; the protein content in the blood of 15 mg/kg selenium group were significantly lower than that by 3mg/kg arsenic.(4)Red cell immune was inhibited, the RBC and the Hb content were decreased by 3mg/kg arsenic; the erythrocyte complement receptor rosette rate was improved, the number of red blood cell immune promoting factor in blood was increased, Immune complex rosette rate and the amount of blood in the role of inhibitors were deceased, the RBC and Hb contents were increased significantly by 5 and 10 mg/kg selenium, and the 1Omg/kg group is the best; the toxicity of red cell immune and function were more serious by 15mg/kg selenium when compared with the 3mg/kg arsenic group.
