Agriculture is the primary industry which related to people's livelihood. Facility agriculture is an important part of modernized agriculture. Heilongjiang Province and Jilin Province as a major agricultural province in China, located in the cold high-latitude areas, adverse weather conditions restrict the development of agriculture infrastructure in the region objectively. Modern greenhouse as the representation of facility agriculture, urgent to design and develop intelligence greenhouse environment control system adapt to the local characteristics.With the development of measurement and control technology, facility agriculture developing towards the direction of large scale and network. Meanwhile, intelligence requirement on greenhouse management has greatly improved. Modern greenhouse technogy is witnessing a trend of integration of greenhouse production and its management through remote communication. This paper is funded by Heilongjiang Province vegetable biological laboratory project and Harbin technology Bureau scholarship project. Through the investigation of the development of large-scale greenhouse operation in Heilongjiang Province, Building a monitoring program suit for cold features, by using virtual instrument technology and PLC technology, has developed a remote Measurement and Control System of greenhouse environment.The contents are as follows: According to research on the environment factors, proposed appropriate remote monitoring program of greenhouse, through the integration of hardware system, developing a measurement and control system based on LabVIEW. The host PC communicates with the PLC through the OPC Sever, to control the lower machine PLC, achieve greenhouse environment parameters collection, preservation, display and automatic control of the greenhouse devices. Providing parameter setting interface, including target settings, device parameter settings, alarm settings. With the greenhouse actual structure and cultivation of crops and reference to agricultural expert knowledge, to achieve real-time environmental parameters setting and automatic control of greenhouse more effective. Create a historical table and user information table in the database, achieve add records to the database, retrieve, and delete functions. To achieve the network remote interface control. By using the Web Publishing tools in LabVIEW, publishing the monitoring platform to the web, a remote client can use the browser to monitor and control the greenhouse.At last, we test the whole system. The results show that the system has achieve design require. It has good user interface, simple operating mothods and long safe run time. The summary of this paper points out the deficiency and the improvement direction of system development.
