| The forest is the base of human's survial and development which are characterized by not only large spatial scale but also long lifecycle,and a false decision perhaps make ecological catastrophe. In virtual forest environments, complex forest objects are constructed; the laws of stand growth are presented and analyzed with computer graphics technology and forestry knowledge. So Virtual Forest environments can provide a new way for forestry research due to its character of trying to exceed the limit of time and space.Combination the forest management plan of You County Huangfengqiao state-owned forest farms and related technical regulations of forest management, research forest harvesting operation process simulation and visual simulation of forest harvesting operation for virtual forest in the visual simulation platform. Further study the specific impact of forest cutting operation and observed its impact in the visual environment. Visual simulation platform,Combined with forest tree's location, diameter and other information, this paper analyzed the forest harvesting operation's impact of on forest spatial structure, forest landscape patterns and economic benefits of forests. The analysis of changes in competitive conditions and spatial patterns of forest before and after cutting can more accurately evaluate human impact on competitive conditions and forest stand spatial pattern. This paper accounted the Chinese fir plantation management on the basis of the economic benefits of business process. Though accounted of the entire business process's main input and output, calculated the net present value and net income. Compared of different operations and different management plan's simulation results, such as economic input-output and visualization of the overall scene in the forest landscape pre-harvesting and post-harvesting, made a research trial in forest management decision support. |
