| Drought is an important and offen-occurring abiotic stress faced by agriculture.To simulate drought stress,Three varieties of potato were treated with 20%PEG-6000 at various intervals:lday-6days.The DNA methylation states and alterations were examined by the method of MSAP. It was found that the patterns of DNA methylation changed after the PEG treatments,with the highest alteration frequency occurred in the Atlantic 1-day treatment,which was23% of the methylation-sensitive sites,and the lowest alteration frequency occurred in the Altantic 3-day and Zhongshu no.36-day treatment,which was 4%.Different varieties had different methylation responses to drought stress:treated with 20%PEG-6000,DN A methylation of Altantic increased,and the basic trend of DNA methylation of Zhongshu no.3 and Zhongshu no.5 is weakening.several variable MSAP profiles were isolated and sequenced,and results were analyzed with Blast analysis.Blast analysis results showed that sequences have homology with some functional genes. Samples treated with 20%PEG-6000 from 1 day to 6days were then determined the activities of antioxidants such as superoxide, dismutase(SOD), catalase(CAT), Peroxidase(POD) and assayed the cntents of malondialdehyde(MDA) and Proline. |
