Continuous cropping obstacles means to plant same plants in the same field for years, even take normal management measures, but also the plant growth situation get even worse, pests serious outbreak, the quality and the yield tended to be get lower. There are many crops have this problem. This article mainly discussed based on planting chili pepper on two different kinds of matrix, one is planted pepper for three years, and the other is fresh which has not plant pepper yet. Detecting the pepper's agronomic characters and content of mineral elements in different period (60 d, 90 d) and different organs (roots, stems, leaves, and fruits), the research results indicate that:(1) Continuous cropping soil played the inhibition on this nutritional growth of pepper. During growing process of pepper, the height, stem diameter of pepper grown in the cropping soil was significantly less than that of peppers in the fresh; the value of stem diameter / plant height, D/H, can reflect the srongness of pepper seedling, D/H continuous cropping=0.000127,D/H normal=0.000135,D/H continuous cropping < D/H normal, it shows seedling express the tendency of spindling. Also the length and width of pepper leaves grown in the cropping soil was significantly less than that of peppers in the fresh, but there is no significant difference. Leaf shape index measure the health of leaves, Leaf shape index refers to the ratio of leaf length and width, L/W. The small L/W refers to the healthy plants; On the contrary, the large L/W is the symbol spindling of pepper seedling. Through calculation, L/W continuous cropping =2.2361, L/W normal = 2.0841, indicating that pepper seedling also express the tendency of spindling.(2) Continuous cropping can reduce production of pepper. The dry matter quantity and the fruit number for each are 30.98%, 33.33% higher than the pepper in the continuous cropping soil, and the differences achieve significant at 0.05 level. And the yield per pepper plant in the fresh soil was 41.99% higher than the pepper in the continuous cropping soil and the differences achieve significant at 0.05 level. It showed that continuous cropping had a stronger inhibitory effect on dry matter quantity of pepper.(3) The pH value of continuous cropping soil for three years is lower than the fresh soil but no significant difference. (4) The content of effective potassium (K), magnesium (Mg), iron (Fe), zinc (Zn) and boron (B) in the continuous cropping soil was higher than that in fresh soil. Before the test, the content of effective potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc and boron in the continuous cropping soil are 8.07%, 11.35%, 26.27%, 9.24%, 17.86% higher than that in fresh soil, and after the test, the content of effective potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc and boron in the continuous cropping soil are 26.96%, 3.18%, 24.64%, 12.54%, 1.85% higher than that in fresh soil also.(5) The content of soil effective calcium (Ca), manganese (Mn), copper (Cu) and molybdenum (Mo) had changed before and after test. Before the test, the content of effective calcium (Ca) and copper (Cu) in continuous cropping soil are 0.95%, 20.09% higher than these in fresh soil, the content of effective manganese (Mn) and molybdenum (Mo) in fresh soil are 29.78%, 153.84% higher than these in the continuous cropping soil; After the test, the content of effective calcium (Ca), manganese (Mn), copper (Cu) and molybdenum (Mo) of fresh soil are 1.11%, 27.09%, 62.5%, 72.18% than these in continuous cropping soil. The difference of the content of effective calcium the two kinds of pepper is not significant, but the difference of the content effective manganese, molybdenum and copper are significantly.(6) The allocation of nitrogen in different organs in different periods is changing. The same period, content of nitrogen in the same organs of the cropping pepper was lower than that of fresh peppers. The nitrogen is mainly distributed in the leaves and fruits, 70.02% - 76.13% for the whole plant. As reproductive growth, fruit expands, fruit nitrogen needed increase, so the root, stem and leaf nitrogen allocation proportion of drop.(7) The content of all kinds of Mineral elements in the pepper that planted in the fresh soil are higher than these in the pepper planted in the cropping soil, except that the content of effective molybdenum .The content of effective potassium, calcium, magnesium, copper, zinc and iron in the cropping soil are significantly higher than that in the fresh soil, but its opposite in the pepper , and its possibly because of the antagonist and promote of elements in the soil solution.
