| This study was from November 2008 to November 2010 in the Fan Jia Zhai middle school orchard, Fengxiang County, Baoji City Shanxi Province , to Fuji, Royal Gala fruit trees as materials, Determination of the characteristics about this new low grafting way on apple tree growth and leaf photosynthesis , and made comparison in tree growth and photosynthetic capacity with high grafting in the traditional way of grafted. On this basis, determine the most suitable methods of low grafting in this region, and the management of low grafting apple. the following results based on this experiment.1.Through the survey of low grafting and high grafting apple trees in height, trunk girth, branching amount, Center stem growth over the years in Fan Zhai middle school orchard, Fengxiang County, Baoji City, Shanxi Province, it showed Low grafting apple trees in the first two years after grafting were slow-growing and far below the growth of high grafting apple trees, starting from the third year the low grafting trees grew faster, and closed to the growth rate of high grafting. To the fourth, fifth years the low grafting apple trees grew fast,height, trunk girth, branching amount, Center stem growth over the years were all over the high grafting apple trees.2.Through the survey of low grafting and high grafting apple trees in the number of flower buds, fruit set, fruit yield, rot in Fan Zhai middle school orchard, Fengxiang County, Baoji City, Shanxi Province, it showed Low grafting apple trees in the first two years after grafting were less in the number of flower buds, fruit set and fruit yield, while from the third, fourth years those grew fast and close to the high grafting apple trees. The rot rate had been mush lower than that in the high grafting apple trees.3.The quality of apple from low grafting trees and from high grafting trees had some difference.4.The fifth years after grafting the photosynthetic capacity of different apple varieties showed different results, the photosynthetic capacity of low grafting Fuji tree is larger than high grafting Fuji tree, the photosynthetic capacity of low grafting Gala tree is less than high grafting Gala tree, and the photosynthetic capacity of Fuji tree is larger than Gala tree. low grafting Fuji trees after 5 years compared with the photosynthetic capacity of the branches of different retraction period, it showed: 3 years at the retraction>2 years at the retraction>4 years at the retraction>5 years at the retraction, Compared with different grafting age of low grafting Fuji tree, it showed: grafted 5 years> grafted 3 years> grafted 2 years. It showed that the most suitable varieties for low grafting is Fuji apple trees. The best pruning way to the low grafting Fuji apple trees was keeping more 3 years retraction branches. |
