In this study, the genotype of 144 Qinchuan Cattle was detected by PCR and gel electrophoresis technology, using 7 microsatellite recommended by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). This study analyzed genetic variation among Qinchuan Cattle population, as well as the association between microsatellite markers and some body-size traits. The SNPs of CDIPT gene in 638 Qinchuan Cattle aged 1~3 years was detected by PCR-SSCP combined DNA sequencing technology, and this study analyzed the association of the CDIPT gene variations with some meat traits of Qinchuan population, with a view to accelerating the process of Qinchuan beef breeding. The results were as follows:1, Total 164 alleles were detected from the 7 microsatellite loci examined. The number of alleles per locus ranged from 16 (IDVGA27) to 28 (IDVGA2),giving a mean number of 23.43 alleles per locus. Mean observed heterozygosity and mean expected heterozygosity of 7 microsatellite loci were 0.7634 and 0.9232, respectively. Polymorphism information content (PIC) was from 0.8724 (IDVGA27) to 0.9453 (IDVGA2), and mean PIC was 0.9141. Each loci showed high polymorphism, and can be used to analyze the genetic characteristics in Qinchuan population.2, This study analyzed the association between microsatellite markers and some body-size traits inQinchuan Cattle. The results showed that: BM2113 loci was significantly related to rump length, body length and body height; IDVGA27 loci was significantly related to body length, height at hip cross and chest depth; IDVGA2 loci was significantly related to chest depth; TGLA44 loci was significantly related to hip width and hip width; Means and multiple comparison of body-size traits among different genotypes of four loci respectively in Qinchuan Cattle was tested, the results showed that: In BM2113 loci, genotype CC has significant effect on body length and Body height, genotype FF has significant effect on rump length; In IDVGA27 loci, genotype AE has significant effect on chest depth, genotype BF has significant effect on height at hip cross, genotype CC has significant effect on body length; In IDVGA2 loci, genotype DD has significant effect on chest depth; In TGLA44 loci, genotype AE has significant effect on hip width and hip width. These genotypes as corresponding body measurements traits were expected to be early Marker-assisted selection(MAS) .3, We detected SNPs in all introns of the CDIPT gene in Qinchuan cattle, the association of the SNPs in CDIPT gene with some meat traits of Qinchuan population was analyzed, The results showed that there was a mutation(Y=G→A)at 1496th bp of CDIPT gene( located intron 3) , and the SNP has significant correlation with back-fat thicknesss and marbling. Cattles with genotype GG, AG have back-fat thickness than cattles with genotype AA, Cattles with genotype GG have higher level of marbling than cattles with genotype AA, but no significant difference with genotype AG, It indicated that GG genotype was favorable genotype in this SNP locus. What suggested that CDIPT gene could be studied as a candidate gene for Marker-assisted selection(MAS).
