Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) is a1-2years compositae born herb, to take medicine,is a traditional big chinese traditional medicine. Safflower has the effects of promoting bloodcirculation, restoring normal menstruation, scattered stasis pain, lower cholesterol and bloodpressur. Linoleic acid content within Safflower seeds reaches as high as80%, can be used tocrush the high quality vegetable oil, press the bread of the meal is after high quality protein feed.The Safflower can also withdraw red pigment and yellow pigment as dyestuff and apply color.Safflower gathers a medicine to use, edible, the dyestuff, oil anticipate and the animal feed is atthe whole body and develop prospect amplitude.This research took safflower as object, usedadoption splits area design, studied the influence of water-fertilizer interaction on safflower yieldand quality, mainly results were as follows:1The effect of irrigation volume and nitrogen fertilizer on the safflower stress resistance.Irrigation volume for3600m3·hm-2and nitrogen for180kg·hm-2, relative conductivity valueminimum, MDA and free Pro content minimum, At this time, had minimum damage degree tosafflower, the resistance best, help to improve the resistance.2The affection of irrigation volume and nitrogen fertilizer on safflower yield and economicbenefit.
