Potato,sweet potato and cassava was called the world's three major potatoes, Potato is a worldwide economic crops, It is one of the world's larger annual output agricultural production too. This ancient cultivated plants is not only is a food and vegetable with high nutritional value, but also is a good industrial raw materials. In recent years, because of the agricultural structure adjusted and optimized, The potato growing area is being increased with steady steps, but its mechanization of harvesting level is very low, particularly in the mining or harvesting potatoes, It has more difficulty than grain and forage in harvesting, this is the big power consumption link in harvest work, in the process of combine harvester equipment operation, most resistance concentrated in the mining shovel, That is the digging components to soil. Therefore, it is an important and difficult task to development a reasonable and usable potato combine harvester's equipment and research its mechanism of mining.In this paper ,the principle analysis, dynamic analysis, performance analysis and optimization of parameters to mining equipment of 4U-1400FD-type bag-style potato combine harvester's mining shovel were carried out aimed at the soil physical properties and the mechanical properties of the potato harvest, Including the establishment of a mathematical model of traction resistance, In this model, the shovel surface angle of Shovel mining, the influences of tractive resistance on the obliquity of blade, working velocity, digging depth and blade length was analyzed respectively. The optimum parameters combination of the digging blade was concluded: obliquity of blade is 20°, blade length is 470mm, digging breadth is 1400mm; Based on those parameter, the mining shovel on mining equipment of 4U-1400FD-type bag-style potato combine harvester's was designed, The mining shovel was the split order plane composite structure, the longitudinal section was the"~"shape, this improved the capacity of buried and pulverize; The digging depth was adjusted through the profiling pulverizer roll, reduced the vertical load of the rack. The profiling pulverizer device and the soil cut mining device were connected with the rack through the parallel four-bar mechanism, Use of tractor hydraulic output to control its movements, to ensure that the potato harvester's vertical keep the level status and the mining shovel buried performance keep the same in different digging depth.Made the finite element static analyze on the framework of mining shovel equipment and mining shovel by using ANSYS software, Trough solving the deformation and stress distribution,carried the strength check, The theoretical analysis and field trial results showed that: The structure design of 4U-1400FD-type bag-style potato combine harvester's digging equipment and shovel is reasonable and reliability, the working performance is good, the research made a basis on further optimize design of the whole machine.
