Based on the wide collecting the genetic resources and multi-location trials, the cutting orchard by selecting Taiwan Alnus formosana clones was established. The relationship between the number of germination and management technology such as planting density,heading height,pruning,fertilization was studied.The relation between rooting rate of cutting propagation of Taiwan Alnus formosana and plant different ages, clones, cuttage date, cutting substance, shoot different methods was also studied. The results indicated:the number of germination of cutting orchard clone plant chiefly depended on genetic characters and planting density, meantime,they are had closely related with heading height, pruning, fertilization. The key to builded cutting orchard of Taiwan Alnus formosana clones was selected comprehensive property clone. The appropriate plant spaceing was lm X 2m, the planting density of clone was 90cm reasonable. There were two rooting types that callus rooting and bark rooting in Taiwan Alnus formosana. The great majority was bark rooting,several belonged to these two types. Rooting rate of adult and young basal cutting had remarkable variation in Taiwan Alnus formosana, the young had bigger variation than adult. Rooting rate of different growth year had remarkable variation in Taiwan Alnus formosana,rooting rate of cutting after 4 years was marked descend. Rooting rate of different clones had remarkable variation,15 clones that rooting rate was above 80% were selected. Rooting rate had remarkable variation in different cutting time,the highest rooting rate was on the first ten-day of September. Rooting rate had remarkable variation in different cutting medium,the best medium was yellow soil and peat plus perlite,scions with bud or with 1-2 leaf. Rooting rate of scions which were treated with different concentration of GGR had remarkable variation,the better was concentration of 300PPM.We studied cutting nursery stock of Taiwan Alnus formosana clones relativity by Diameter growth,Height growth,row and so on,builded the mathematical model with number of plant,Height growth,Diameter growth.
