Nicknamed the "King of bulb flowers ", Lilium spp is an important cut flower, following the rose, carnation, gladiolus, Africa chrysanthemum, have great economics value. In recent years the production of lily developed rapidly in the nation and foreign markets. As a new crop, study of the lily is not enough. Dormancy releasing technology of bulb is one of bottleneck about lily cut flower around-year supply. In production, we found that the time to releases the dormancy is different in the different altitude production identical variety lily bulb. In the paper, Siberia and Sorbonne which are good sale in nation and foreign markets is used to be the materials. Aims at 4℃,measures the different releasing time on altitude production bulb dormancy in order to provide the experimental basis and further explores the tuber class crops the dormancy mechanism on realizing the localization of the lily bulb production.The main results are as follows:1. Daughter bulb and mother bulb's water content have little difference in entire dormancy process. Sorbonne and Siberia had a ratio of bud height/bulb height been 1/2~2/3。2. The daughter bulb and growing point's sucrose content assumes after the lily dormancy process elevates first reduces the process, the sucrose content achieves the peak to be able the symbol which releases as the lily dormancy. The starch of Lily bulb consumes a lot in dormancy process, and transforms the soluble sugar. The sucrose content is high, the glucose and the fructose content is low. In low-temperature treatment process, the sucrose content of Lily bulb increase first and decrease later. When dormancy broken, the sucrose and the glucose content achieved highest level, fructose content reaches lowest level in daughter bulb and growing point. The soluble solid content same as the sucrose content, when soluble solid content achieves the peak, bulb's dormancy broken.3. In low temperature storing, the amylase and sucrose related enzyme activeness has elevates. At the time of dormancy broken SS activeness achieves maximum, in this time the sucrose content is highest; one week before dormancy broken,SPS achieve the maximum; the Inv activeness show rising tendency in the low temperature storing. The daughter bulb's enzyme is higher than the mother bulb exactly, and the growing point's enzyme activity is higher than the inner layer and the outer layer.4. Bulbs produced in low altitude could be quicker release dormancy in 4℃, and after planting show better growing, can reduce the number of days to flowering, and the cut flower quality has improved significantly. The low altitude production's bulbs grow faster. The effect of bulbs' production altitude on growth speed is the entire grow process after planting.5. the low latitude bulb need more time than the high in dormancy releasing under 4℃treatment. Latitude 2300m Siberia and Sorbonne release dormancy need 6 weeks,1900m Siberia and Sorbonne need for 4 weeks,500m place Siberia need 3 weeks to break dormancy.
