Forest ecosystem are the conditions and processes through which natural ecosystems, and the species that make them up, sustain and fulfill human life.Firstly, according to the concept, types and characteristics of forest ecosystem.analyzes the essence of forest ecosystem, fully lays out its functions. And the part of forest ecosystem functions which have been used by society are brought into and structure the monetary value of evaluation indices system. This indices system will be integral, scientific and can be practiced in most cases and on large-scale analysis. In the system, having a total of 18 indicators.Secondly, according to the service life of small and medium-sized reservior, diluted the value of holding water and disaster mitigation. It avoids discounting the service value of water-holding and disaster reduction in future and calculating repeatedly. According to the characteristics of Millennium assessment system (MA) of forest recreation, this article constructs the technique route on aesthetic, cultural and healthcare services value evaluation to reflect the landscape resources of forest ecosystem and forest recreation values. Invoke the concept of employment elasticity coefficient, and combining with the data of practical job posts provided by the forest ecosystem construction, make use of the proportion of GDP driven for resolving job posts to replace the value of the working posts provided by forest ecosystem construction.Finally, take forest ecosystem of Sui Chang district as the evaluation object in this paper and take full account of the forest ecosystem's structure function, geographical features and so on, to establish the evaluating indicators system of forest ecosystem services value, in which including 18 class indicators. The results showed that: forest ecosystem services value of Sui Chang district come up to 2593507.32 million Yuan (Chinese RMB), indirect economic value corresponds to 6.6 times than direct economic value. Forest ecosystem of Sui chang district make a significant contribution on maintaining and improving the local ecological environment and maintaining sustainable economic development. However, as the ecological barrier of city needs to be further consolidated and strengthened.
