Keeping with international practice, China in 1984 began the study of soil taxonomy, soil system, soil classification and diagnosis through diagnostic soil characteristics to classify the quantitative classification of soil. Used for classification of diagnostic horizons and diagnostic characteristics of indicators reflect the climate, water, nutrients, texture, soil thickness of soil properties and background information on the basis of land use. After soil scientists nearly 20 years of efforts, China's soil taxonomy program has been basically formed, but no corresponding technical studies of soil survey methods. According to the traditional soil survey of the main section, check the profiles and profile-bound ideas and approaches, using spatial interpolation techniques in the study area four experimental route had been excavated in sections 64 points, the diagnosis of these profiles points layer and diagnostic characteristics of the study area to determine soil type and soil type of hook lines painted. Then a test of the soil map of the route ticks drawn check results show that, in examining the route set section 20 check points, of which 19 cross-section points, in line with the actual situation, the correct rate of 95%, indicating the use of interpolation Soil-oriented classification of soil survey mapping is feasible. Combined with the soil landscape can assist workers in a more efficient soil survey to determine soil type, soil boundaries was painted hooks.Main results of this study are as follows:1, this study according to the traditional soil survey of the main section, check the profiles and profile-bound ideas and approaches, using spatial interpolation techniques, applied diagnostic horizons, diagnostic properties of quantitative characteristics of the study area can accurately identify the different soil type of cut-off point, thus the use of soil and landscape relations can hook draw the boundaries of soil types.2, based on soil taxonomy of the soil survey and genetic classification of soil based on soil survey the biggest difference is that the soil system classification is based on diagnostic horizons, diagnostic features and diagnosis of the phenomenon, while the diagnostic horizons, diagnostic features are quantitative classification, quantitative classification of different soil types conducive to accurately identify the boundaries between the points, but the soil genetic classification is a qualitative classification used to describe the soil characteristics is qualitative rather than quantitative, in the field of soil survey, it will be difficult to find out the soil type boundaries.3, soil landscape to determine the boundaries of soil types can play a very important supporting role in the field of soil survey can be judged based on the initial soil landscape unit within the boundaries of soil types and soil types, using the soil landscape for soil survey by digging in the field to set the profile sections provide a reference point location.4, in the present study, based on the author summarized Soil classification based on soil survey mapping the cross-section excavation methods and principles, but also presented the key profile, check the profiles and profile settings delimitation principles.
